Why I Walk – Furaha Amos, Coordinator, Walk to Remember

I don’t walk imagining what happened, I walk remembering the lost lives.  Letting the world imagine what would have happen if they just walked like we do, Tutsi genocide wouldn’t have happen. I walk by stepping forward not backwards, I don’t walk by myself I walk with the “hope” generation who believes in what I believe in, who are ready to prevent Genocide and mass atrocities. I just walk because “Walk to Remember” has helped me to walk through my tough journey.  Furaha Amos, Coordinator, Walk to Remember
