Why I Walk – Paul Kato, Walk to Remember Rwanda

I walk to give respect and honour to all my fellow Rwandans who were killed in 1994 Genocide. I walk in respect for all my relatives, friends and parents of my friends who were killed in Genocide. I walk to show the world that my country is not known for Genocide but is also known for a country of hope to the hopeless. I walk to remember and also to see how me and you have come from far. Four years down the road, in organising and participating in Walk to Remember, Rwanda and my fellow Rwandans are being restored. I believe greater things are yet to come in Rwanda.   Paul Kato, Walk to Remember Organizer, Kigali-Rwanda
